Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a business-savvy, hands-on CFO with solid finance and strategy skills and hands-on experience in corporate and professional services with a start-up mentality. This Finance Executive role will be a leader within the crypto entity, external relationships, and forecasting/planning. This executive leader will successfully be responsible for corporate development, M&A, corporate financing, strategic planning, revenue planning, FP&A, P&L responsibility, budgeting, and ERP System and IT oversight. A successful candidate should have well-established experience and sophistication in dealing with investor communications and private equity. We are looking for an intellectually curious and hardworking individual to help the organization and their Crypto entity prepare for continued rapid growth. This role is responsible for being the finance leader within the crypto entity, managing banking relationships, and forecasting/planning. This role presents the opportunity to work with multiple teams across Gala, such as product, engineering, operations, treasury, finance, compliance, and legal. If you're ready to give 100% to help us achieve our mission, we'd love to have you apply.Relocation can be provided for qualified candidates and the starting salary for this role is $400k.Essential Skills and Qualifications● 15+ years experience in Treasury, Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related financialservices field, with demonstrated leadership experience in the crypto space● Strong crypto experience and enthusiast for the space and product● An excellent foundation of active liquidity management in crypto financial services● Prior banking relationship management experience with a solid working knowledge ofcrypto banking products and services● Ability and comfort working independently across cross-functional internal teams andexternal relationships, and the ability to project manage large-scale projects● Ability to get things done and be comfortable with ambiguity● Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
