Desktop Support Engineer

A large financial enterprise is looking for a DLP Technician to join their Information Security team, specifically in their Infrastructure Security organization dealing with Email and File Encryption. This role will be focused on internal and external customer emails, secure emails, troubleshooting, technical support and advisory for any files or attachments. You will be responsible for keeping knowledge base articles and procedures up to date, email correspondence, slack channels, etc. This role does involve good customer service and attitude as you will be dealing with people on a regular basis. We are looking for someone who wants to grow in the tech space and get into Security, as the foundation of this role is technical support in both Windows and Mac environments, but dealing with encryption and security principles.Must-Haves:-3+ years of Technical Support experience.-Understanding of encryption tools (Voltage, Slecore, Microsoft Office products) and/or open to learning them.-Exposure into Information Security.-Great working with Windows/Mac.-Understanding of Linux/RedHat.Plusses-Hands on encrypting experienceCompensation:$35/hr to $45/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
