Job Title: Document Compliance Analyst 1Location: Fully Remote (Must be available from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, Monday through Friday)Position Type: Full-Time, PermanentPay rate: $24-31/hourIntroduction:The Document Compliance Analyst works with the team to provide courteous, accurate, and quick responses to our customers in the field and throughout other departments of the company. Closely follow and communicate compliance and regulatory developments that affect mortgage lending compliance. Conduct research on federal, state, agency, investor regulations and guidelinesKey Responsibilities:• Handle incoming requests and answer questions from internal customers (loan officers and processors) primarily through Zendesk.• Manage a high volume of tickets, with individual analysts handling 5-10 tickets per day.• Resolve complex issues by researching and utilizing available resources.• Occasionally handle phone inquiries, though most communication will be through Zendesk.• Ensure that every ticket is first touched within 30 minutes.• Address time-sensitive issues, such as updating documentation for secondary market purchases and other compliance-related tasks.Expectations:• Demonstrate a strong understanding of mortgage regulations and requirements.• Apply critical thinking skills and a sense of urgency to effectively resolve issues.• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.Qualifications:• 1-2 years of experience in an office environment.• Mortgage experience is highly preferred, particularly with loans and post-closing processes.• Previous customer service experience is beneficial (retail, food service, etc.).• Familiarity with Zendesk is a plus.• A background in finance or legal fields is advantageous.Compensation:• Hourly position with an annual salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 ($24 - $31 per hour), with higher pay rates for candidates with relevant mortgage experience.
