Position OverviewThis position is responsible for providing financial support to several divisions throughout the organization. In addition, the position works closely with senior leadership and updates & distributes monthly reporting. The position reports to the Manager of Budgeting and Planning.Principal Responsibilities• Collaborates with department leaders• Transforms data & organizes information• Updates monthly forecast• Creates & distributes expense variance summaries• Assists with evaluating headcount & expense requests• Creates & maintains financial models• Supports the accounting team as needed for audit activities, reporting, and special projects• Works closely with accounting department, providing general ledger coding as needed• Reviews general ledger and identifies needs for expense reclassification• Develops the annual budget• Prepares & delivers financial presentations• Provides ad hoc analysis as neededMinimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance, Business Administration or related field• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, with 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis communicating to non-finance leadership.• Must have a high integrity work ethic and be able to always maintain confidentiality.Required Skills/Abilities• An out-of-the-box thinker with ability to work with minimal supervision• Ability to build and maintain relationships with other departments• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to adapt or pivot quickly• Skilled at researching variance drivers and effectively communicating results• Strong planning and problem-solving skills, team-player• Proven time management skills with ability to meet or beat deadlines• Intermediate skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.)• Previous experience developing annual budgets• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Strong financial and analytical abilities: collect, analyze, and present results in a concise format• Working knowledge of ERP Systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle)• Prior use of planning and budgeting systems (Oracle PBCS, IBM Cognos, Prophix, Workday)We are targeting a pay rate between $30 - $35 per hour.
