JOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is looking for a Front-End Developer to join a retail client in Irving, TX. The Front-End Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and overall maintenance of their ecommerce platform. The individual will be responsible for driving front-end strategy sessions with offshore teams, leading debugging systems, and providing consistent platform monitoring for system performance and enhancements. The individual will join a team responsible for the upkeep and development for their ecommerce website including enhancements of the existing design and providing insights for new designs and developments with ReactJS and NextJS. The ideal candidate will come from a retail and ecommerce background.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- 7+ years of experience working as front-end developer - Proficiency with ReactJS and NextJS - Experience working in a cloud environment (GCP preferred) - Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving ecommerce platforms - Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to work cross functionally with global business and technical teamsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Experience leading technical teams/projects
