Title: QA Manager (Eggplant Automation)Duration: Fulltime/ PermanentLocation: Remote (NOT Eligible to sit in the following states: MT, NY, NJ, CA, CO, RI, HI, OR)Salary: $140,000- $150,000Job Summary:The Manager IT leads and manages the Quality Assurance (QA) team to provide manual and automated testing service for HealthIT software products. The Manager IT plans testing strategies for HealthIT projects and prioritizes work for the five QA analysts. The position analyzes existing processes, methodologies, and tools to identify areas for improvement and establishes new methodologies to support modern technologies. The position oversees processes that affect the product's integrity, such as data analysis and process-making. Large projects include Virtual Desktop Infrastructure of our clients applications and upgrades.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Managing IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, assigning projects/tasks, and monitoring performance.• Ensures staff alignment with mission and strategic plan• Ensures staff compliance with budgets, resource allocation, operational plans, and policies.• Ensures that projects stay on track and regularly communicates status to department leadership and business/operational leaders.• Regularly review/implement advances in technology and industry best practices.• Assists with preparation of operating and capital budgets following established guidelines and using benchmark data.• The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.Must Haves:• Software QA testing experience (strongly preferred)• Healthcare experience (strongly preferred)• EPIC experience (strongly preferred)• Eggplant software testing experience (preferred)• Management or Leadership experience (preferred)• Bachelor's degree (Required)TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES:• Operations Planning (Intermediate): Anticipates resource needs to meet objectives and implements appropriate processes.• Leadership (Intermediate): Formulates a vision while motivating & guiding employees promoting engagement.
