As a Senior Database Developer, you will use your expertise and experience in the following areas and activities to deliver solutions and services to our customer:Evaluating/Troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures for optimal performancePerforming daily checks of database services and systems to ensure availabilityMonitoring database management systems for health in terms of resources such as memory and CPU usageAssisting software developers with query design and tuningPerforming Extraction, Transacting and Loading (ETL) of data as necessaryDiagnosing and resolving database management systems in times of reduction of service or failureConsulting with system architects and software developers on database object design (tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, indices, etc.)Developing, monitoring, and maintaining any database jobs that are necessary to maintain the health of the database server(s)Ensuring that database server (and individual database) settings are appropriateCompensation:$70-85/hourExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
