Job DescriptionA client of Insight Global who is one of the largest Insurance providers in the world is looking for a Sr. Technical Business Analyst who has a background in Employee Benefits or HR Systems, such as Payroll, Retirement, Health Insurance etc. within an Agile environment. The Technical BA will be part of the business architecture team for Group Insurance. We are looking for someone who has a strong technical acumen, experience working with product owners and people who can drive work forward. This person should understand the full scope of the project, be able to dig in and understand what they are doing, how it applies and focus in on the elements of the piece of work they are tasked with.This group is specifically focused on supporting the product owners that are part of the Group Insurance client acquisition team who is responsible for setting up and maintaining the billing and employee profiles that will be leveraged to provide those services. Once the new employee and billing profiles are onboarded, this team will be supporting the product owners who will go into the systems and create a client profile with different elements (employee and employer location, insurance code for coverage, different products included within the insurance coverage and set up individual fields for HR Benefits and Employee Benefits coverage which will be distributed to the billing systems).The BA will be working with 3rd party vendors with API's and maintaining these products. The BA will go in and make changes, go to the billing systems, update coverage changes, communicate with the billing systems to plug in the external API's and now their internal employees and the employers can look to see the products, offerings and billing related to their HR insurance coverage.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
