Job Description

As a graphic design intern, you will work closely with the creative team to support the development and execution of high-quality visual materials that align with our mission of delivering exceptional educational experiences. From crafting polished presentations and training guides to designing stage visuals and interactive content, you'll help ensure every design element is not only aesthetically impressive but also effectively communicates the distinctive value of our clients' brands.

You’ll get hands-on experience working on a variety of projects, including digital and social campaigns, print collateral, and branded event materials. Whether it’s designing layouts for educational content, crafting dynamic visuals for client presentations, or enhancing the look and feel of experiential events, you’ll play an active role in shaping how our clients’ brands are seen and experienced.

Availability: Candidates must be available for all 11 weeks
Timeframe: May 19 – August 1, 2025
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break
Location: Remote

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Design Educational Materials: Create digital and print assets like training guides, one-sheeters, presentation decks, infographics, and interactive content.
  • Develop Event Graphics: Design visuals for trade shows, conventions, and remote training events, including banners, signage, stage backdrops, and branded swag.
  • Support Multi-Environment Learning: Adapt designs to suit various formats, from small in-person workshops to large-scale virtual events.
  • Collaborate With the Team: Work closely with the design team to develop visually engaging content for educational programs, presentations, and marketing materials, to ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and educational objectives.
  • Enhance Visual Storytelling: Use typography, layout, and color to distill complex ideas down to simple, engaging visuals that are accessible to diverse audiences.
  • Incorporate Motion & Video: Assist in creating animations and multimedia assets to enhance learning sessions and agency initiatives.
  • Contribute to Campaigns: Design promotional materials to boost attendance and engagement in educational programs.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Develop templates and ensure all visuals reflect the company’s identity and values.
  • Participate in Brainstorms: Assist in developing ideas for innovative visual storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with video editing or animation tools is a plus. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Creativity: Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and attention to detail. Passion for storytelling, brand development, and creating visual impact.
  • Detail-Oriented: A meticulous eye for quality and alignment with brand standards.
  • Adaptable: Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment. Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work both independently and with a team. Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards

Additional Information

The base compensation for this job classification is $16.00 hourly or applicable state wage. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions. This position offers incentive opportunities plus full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, PTO time and more.
