Director, Global Sales Enablement

What You Will Be Doing

As the instructional designer, you will be creating online courses and in-person curriculum, for global, internal employees, our customer base, and partners, focusing on the exciting future of vehicle electrification. You will be on the forefront of electric vehicle (EV) charging with the leader in the EV charging industry, ChargePoint.

You will design training content this year, that focuses on the automotive industry with the intent to increase electric vehicle sales within North America and across Europe.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training programs to support learning objectives that align with sales organization's goal
  • Continually work to ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date and in line with products and larger organizational initiatives
  • Work cross functionally with sales leadership, marketing, product, and systems teams to align training goals
  • Create and design instructor-led and on-demand learning modules such as e-learning programs, podcasts, videos, webinars, podcasts, articles, and eLearning modules
  • Develop assessments to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum and learner performance in the workplace, integrating results into new and existing course curriculum
  • Track training data, report on metrics, and provide feedback and recommendations on how we move forward with training for sales roles.
  • Summarize and share data through regular reports and presentations to the sales leadership team
  • Work with internal teams to increase awareness of learning programs
  • Maintain a weekly update to the sales team on cross functional information salespeople need to know

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience with instructional design and adult learning techniques
  • Experience creating training curriculum for sales
  • Experience developing a full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, facilitate, monitor, and evaluate)
  • Experience designing competency-based curriculum
  • Experience designing and developing learning programs across various delivery mediums, including in-person training, remote synchronous training, and online modules

Helpful to Have

  • Experience with videography
  • Experience with graphic design

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $47,250 to $103,500. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
