Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and quality education to Airport Service employees and vendors that provide compliance with regulatory, service requirements and operational goals.
  • Course Development: Develop, maintain and deliver curriculum that includes lesson plans, new hire and recurrent training, regulatory and new product training. Maintain and teach over 35 different curriculum.
  • Deliver Adult Learning Training Methodology: Recognize and adapt practical instruction according to adult learning principles.
  • Evaluate Employee Behavior and Performance: Monitor employee participation and progress throughout the training event. Provide direct feedback and coaching for success. Document and report behavioral/class disruptions/attendance issues to Training Management and respective GM.
  • Participate in Station Openings: Provide technical training and on-site support for new station openings to include: setup of training records, organization of station files, conduct onsite training and practice sessions. Assist new GM as needed.
  • Record keeping: Complete recordkeeping (when not electronic), e.g., GSC, CRO, Baggage, and Operations.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years' experience
  • Domestic & International travel under 10% of time
  • Exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
Additional Certifications
  • Maintain current Spirit Airlines Certification.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Available for flexible daily scheduling to support Spirit Airlines’ operation.
  • Ability to sit, stand and move throughout office/class.
