Our continued success depends on it! Sr. Technical Product Manager Position Summary Insulet develops extraordinary diabetes technologies that improve the lives of people with diabetes. To deliver outstanding connected products, Insulet executes product development in a matrixed environment, with resources from many disciplines (e.g. mechanical engineering, embedded electronics, UX and human factors, software engineering, cloud architecture... clinical, regulatory, and commercial) contributing to each program. The Product Manager serves as the product leader for a program that may consists of a wearable, a controller, user apps, integrations with partner technologies, and cloud technologies. In this role s/he is primarily accountable for the success of the product that is released (user experience, commercial success, field reliability), and has shared responsibility with the Program Manager for timeliness to market and program budget. Working closely with a peer in marketing and program management, s/he achieves these objectives by ensuring that the product vision, system design, and regulatory and clinical strategies, are optimized to efficiently deliver an outstanding product to Insulet's users. Responsibilities Lead a product team to design and develop solutions that compellingly address the needs of people with diabetes Collaborate with Marketing to ensure that the product vision is clear and compelling, and that the planned product will deliver commercial success by delivering meaningful innovation to users Translate product vision into wireframes and design control documentation that a product team can efficiently develop Leverage Product Owners to ensure that the product vision is well-understood by all members of the product team and that each feature delivers its part of a cohesive vision Evangelize the product experience by being a constant user of each product integration and provide feedback to the product team to constantly guide development towards the vision Collaborate on roadmaps for Insulet's product portfolio and the technologies that underpin it Provide leadership and enthusiasm to the program team to help them complete their work successfully Manage product scope and tradeoffs Continually improve processes in the Product Management group With peer in Program Management, ensure product is delivered on time and in-budget Perform other duties as required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent MBA preferred Minimum of 10 years of software development experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years experience as a product manager in an agile environment Skills/Competencies:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
