Insurity’s Next Market Development Associate
Our Market Development Associate will be an integral part of our Marketing teams to drive the development of our analytics market within the insurance industry. This role will focus on pipeline building through top-of-funnel activities, driving revenue from our current customer base, acquiring new logos, and collaborating closely with sales reps to ensure lead conversion to revenue. We’re looking for a self-starter with strong drive and grit—someone who thrives on challenges and is eager to learn. Collaboration is essential, and we seek individuals who embody our core values of 'own it' and 'succeed together,' working with others to achieve shared success.
What Our Market Development Associate Will Do
- Lead Generation: Execute top-of-funnel activities, including outbound outreach among other prospecting efforts, to generate leads and build a robust pipeline for analytics solutions.
- Strategic Account Engagement & Expertise: Work closely with sales representatives to break into high-impact accounts, leveraging their insights and expertise to identify opportunities for engagement.
- Development of Content Strategy: Partner with sales representatives to design and produce tailored content, such as customized presentations, decks, and messaging that clearly articulates the value of our analytics solutions. This collaboration aims to enhance engagement with prospects, facilitate meaningful discussions, and ultimately secure pipeline and bookings.
- New Logo Acquisition: Strategically target and engage potential new clients to secure new business and expand our market presence.
- Pipeline Building: Track and collaborate to support the progression of leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accountability for lead conversion to revenue.
- Market Insights: Identify and leverage market insights to understand industry trends and customer needs, collaborating with internal teams to enhance our go-to-market strategy and effectively position our analytics solutions in the insurance sector.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong operational mindset, decisive, “get it done” mentality, a proactive and self-motivated approach to driving initiatives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and organize work, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands while ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
- Attention to detail: a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, ensuring that all work is meticulously checked and validated to maintain high-quality standards and minimize errors.
- Active Listening and Collaborative Independence: Skilled in actively listening to team members and stakeholders while effectively collaborating in a team environment, as well as demonstrating the ability to work autonomously and take initiative when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
- Some travel required

We have five Core Values at Insurity; one of which is to Act with Integrity. Providing pay transparency helps you make the best decision for you. We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $70,000 – 137,000, commensurate with experience.
