Could you be out next Intake Counselor at Mirmont Outpatient Center in Exton, PA? The intake counselor provides clinical intake assessments for individual seeking mental health treatment services. Our mental health services include partial hospitalization (PHP) groups, intensive outpatient (IOP) groups, outpatient/weekly groups, individual psychotherapy, and medication management. The intake counselor is trauma informed, compassionate, dedicated, able to de-escalate, manage mental health crisis, and is team oriented. The intake counselors is the first point of contact for individuals seeking services, and sets the tone for a positive and healing experience. In addition to intake assessments, the intake counselor may occasionally be asked to assist with running PHP or IOP groups if needed.

Shift: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Experience:
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse treatment standards preferred.
Education:
Master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field.
Licensures/Certifications:
Preferred licensure - LSW, LCSW, LPC
