This opportunity is open to all interested candidates.


The San Diego Unified School District is seeking an Integrated Technology Support Specialist I to provide initial technical support services through remote, phone and/or in person to end users with issues regarding software, hardware and networks; analyze and provide solutions to complex and routine problems.


There is currently one, 12-month, full-time position available.


The Integrated Technology Support Specialist I will be paid on the OTBS Salary Schedule. Salary Grade: 040. The OTBS Salary Schedule can be found by clicking here.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of computer-related customer support experience. A+, Network+, Cisco or other Microsoft Specialist/Engineer certifications are desirable.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid California driver’s license and availability of a vehicle capable of occasionally transporting computers, and similar related equipment (mileage expense allowance provided).

      • This information must include an approximate start date, end date (where applicable), specific site, job title, hours per week, and job duties performed for each long-term assignment.
  • Answer all supplemental questions
    • The supplemental questions should be answered thoroughly, clearly and concisely as the responses provided (along with the entire application package) will be carefully reviewed to determine which candidates will move forward in the recruitment process.
  • Attach proof of education
    • Education, training, or certifications will only be considered if acceptable documentation is attached
      • Photocopy of Degree or
      • Photocopy of OFFICIAL transcript
      • Photocopy of Licenses and/or Certifications
    • Foreign Equivalency Certification:
      Individuals who have completed high school or college-level coursework at an institution in a country other than the United States must provide a Foreign Equivalency Certification to satisfy the education requirement.   • Additional documents
    • A resume may be attached, but not substituted for completing work history, education sections, or the supplemental questions of the employment application.
