Authority

The Interactive Producer in Dallas or Chicago is selected and placed by the Director of Production and reports to the Senior Digital Producer. This position works under direction of the Senior Digital Producer, who provides necessary support to the Interactive Producer for them to relate with the project and for them to take ownership of the high-quality delivery; work is completed by the Interactive Producer with low oversight. Incumbent uses independent judgement and discretion to accomplish their tasks. Plans, schedules, and arranges their tasks. Brings solutions forward for complex problems for the Senior Digital Producer to align with them on.

Overall Objective

The Interactive Producer will help take our agency to new heights, depths, and horizons. The perfect candidate will have any eye and curiosity for emerging technologies and digital innovations and possess the practice knowledge to bring those experiences to life in an experiential setting in addition to the more traditional interactive setting of the web.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as the Interactive Producer for brand digital engagement programs on national CPG brands.
  • Provide technical documentation and business requirements for projects in planning.
  • Work directly with colleagues across all functional teams (Account Services, Creative, Strategy, Planning and Production) to deliver digital projects on time and on budget.
  • Directly manage and grow vendor relationships to deliver projects on strategy and budget.
  • Develop, maintain and execute workable project plans. Plans should include tasks, milestones, dependencies, work-effort, duration and resource-allocation across functional teams.
  • Actively manage multiple projects across multiple clients while remaining flexible enough for requirements to shift at a moment's notice.
  • Occasional holiday and weekend availability (as business dictates).
  • Clearly identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.
  • Forecast, track and manage project budgets, SOWs, POs and invoices in relation to projects.
  • Coordinate internally and with the client to ensure effective exchange of project requirements, information and deliverables.
  • Have a basic knowledge or understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript, and API technical application architecture

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years project management or digital production experience.
  • 1 year event management or event production experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable and professional around clients in-person when overseeing on-site interactive productions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an objective-oriented focus.
  • Experience overseeing full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery and beyond.
  • Preferred background in or strong knowledge of technical development and digital interactive production.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and workflows at a time.
  • Ability to develop, communicate and adhere to detailed project plans.
  • Ability to understand and develop project documentation such as SOWs, production requests and technical requirements.
  • Adaptable to change within a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project management principles and techniques.
  • Proven experience managing productive professional relationships with colleagues, clients and vendors.
  • Professional & personable communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, and strong digital visual aesthetic skills in relation to UX and layout.
  • Understanding or natural curiosity of emerging technologies and how they will apply to our business (e.g. augmented reality, virtual reality, blockchain, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, tag management, and common media tracking methodologies.
  • Comfortable leading calls with technical and non-technical teams.
