Staff Salesforce Engineer

Intercom is a leading AI Customer Service company dedicated to transforming customer experiences with advanced AI solutions. We seek a Staff Salesforce Engineer to enhance and scale our Quote-to-Cash systems, collaborating cross-functionally for transformational business impact.

Skills

Rapid development using AI tools
Integration design expertise
Strong experience architecting complex Salesforce CPQ solutions
Proficiency with VisualForce, Apex, Javascript, and Trigger framework patterns
Experience using Git
Strong problem-solving skills for vague, large-scale challenges
Effective communication across organizational levels
Project planning and sequencing under ambiguity
Leadership in transformational projects with multiple stakeholders
Salesforce certifications (CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer I & II, App Builder, System Architect)

Responsibilities

Design scalable and durable Salesforce solutions for Quote-to-Order processes.
Collaborate with staff/principal engineers and cross-functional teams to address complex multi-system challenges.
Advise and execute transformational systems projects.
Maintain culture of quality and consistency across systems.
Create observability and ensure health of Quote-to-Cash systems.

Education

Relevant Salesforce certifications or equivalent experience
