ROLE SUMMARY

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is seeking an Intern to support our Data & Systems team in the Alliance Home Office and—by extension— our work to cultivate and empower exceptional talent at every level of the organization who prepare our scholars to be successful in college and in life. This position reports directly to the Director, Data & Systems and supports the Data & Systems team through administrative and general support.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather student information from CALPADS for all new students enrolling for the 23-24 SY
  • Identify potential discrepancies between our data and CALPADS

  • Relationship-Building. Have strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (e.g. G.E.D.)
  • Experience with large datasets in Excel and/or google sheets
  • Attention to detail; cares deeply about ensuring quality data

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is a contracted role that will last from May 2023 - July 2023 (180 hours total). The compensation for this position is $16.05 per hour within a maximum of 20 hours per week. This position is generally not eligible for staff benefits except those mandated by applicable law.
