Intern - Software Engineers are responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software for existing or new products/applications. The code you create may be used in commercial, end-user applications and internal tools that improve efficiencies supporting our diverse industry segments and clients. Using current programming languages and technologies, you will write code, perform application testing and debugging, and create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. As an Intern - Software Engineer, you may interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. As you advance in your career, you will become a visionary leader, capable of communicating complex ideas to solve problems faced by users and clients.
What you will do:

Work with Angular to build effective, efficient, visually pleasing user interfaces

Help software architect find new solutions to challenging problems

Receive necessary training (more time than advanced levels)

Manage time, responsibilities, and priorities effectively with emphasis on contribution

Share opinions and ideas openly with team mates

Begin to understand fundamentals of work estimation

Start to learn about Acxiom's core business and procedures through Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Work in a team environment

Create code that is well formed and adheres to Acxiom guidelines for security, readability and maintainability

Follow code plan provided by more senior staff

Adhere to professional standards of conduct

Begin to establish relationships with Acxiom stakeholders and grow those relationships as your career grows
What you will need:

Student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a minimum 3.25 GPA. (Junior/ Senior preferred)
