Internship dates: June 5 - Aug. 18, 2023

Responsibilities:

Our editorial team seeks a self motivated problem solver to help us research, brainstorm, create, and edit world-class consumer medical and health content. The intern also will help gather and organize data for monthly content reporting.

Specific tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • Research, report, write, and edit as needed across content types, including slideshows, video scripts, articles, blogs, features, quizzes, and podcasts
  • Attend interdepartmental team meetings to pitch and brainstorm ideas
  • Shadow editors to learn our full content process from idea to production
  • Help editors draft assignment letters, complete first edits on content

Qualifications:

Required (must be signified on resume):

  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Enrolled in undergrad or graduate program and returning for the Fall 2023 semester.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs and Google Sheets

Preferred:

  • Experience writing about or a keen interest in consumer health topics
  • Strong team player
  • Love of creative problem solving
  • Detail oriented multi-tasker
