Intern, International Tax Reporting

POSITION SUMMARY:

The individual will be responsible for assisting on various Tax Department projects including but not limited to; International Tax Reporting, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assisting in the analyzing and reviewing of supporting documentation before it is presented to the auditor
• Analysis, projections, and calculations on various other tax related projects
• Assisting in excel based offline projects and Alteryx workflows
• Possibly tax related research
• The job will also include making photocopies and other office duties

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Open to sophomores and juniors majoring in Accounting or Finance
• Accounting and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills- including knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Good organizational skills
• Interested in an Accounting or Finance career
• Long Term Internship - must be available for part-time internship during the school year and full-time internship in the summer and winter
• Work location will be based in our NYC office

SALARY RANGE or NYC SALARY RANGE:

The salary range for this position is $16 to $17. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
