IT Project Management Intern
The Global IT Program Management Office team is seeking a motivated IT Project Management Intern to provide support to our Global IT Organization. This role follows a hybrid model with part-time work from the office located in San Jose CA and part-time work from home.
The IT Organization is critical to enable Analog Devices (ADI) sales growth and successfully integrate the combined ADI organization, following the recent acquisition of Maxim Integrated. These are exciting times for ADI and the IT team to innovate and make an impact!

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, Project Management Intern to provide support to our IT Project Management Office. IT Project Managers at ADI work with cross-functional, global teams to deliver complex projects on-time, on-budget, and with desired business results while managing scope and project health effectively. During this internship, you will have opportunities to learn about different areas of Analog’s business and will combine interpersonal communication skills with project management best practice while managing project teams and their business sponsors.
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:

Run weekly project team meetings and assign action items to project participants
-
Communicate project schedule, risks, and issues to project sponsors on a weekly basis
-
Exercise judgement when escalating project issues
-
Work under the direction of senior project managers to conduct user acceptance testing sessions with project teams
-
Work with project managers to audit and enforce project management policies and procedures
-
Work with project team members to build project schedules and measure performance to these schedules
-
Work with other project managers and resource managers to proactively work through resource conflicts
-
Work with the PMO team to implement a process improvement or initiative
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field currently at the Junior or Senior year
-
Experience working as a part of a team to achieve a shared objective with a timeline constraint

Strong communication skills and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:

Pursuing a Master’s degree in an IT-related field

Experience managing project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent software

Superior analytical and problem solving skills

Experience working with globally distributed teams

Experience leading teams
