Intern - Merchandising MVMT

This Merchandising Intern is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and development of merchandising tools, analytic reports, and merchandising product data attribution.

In a small “startup” type of environment this person's ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, be scrappy, create new tools, and problem solve on the fly will be a key to their success. This experience will bring a breath of knowledge into the full product process from brief, to development, go to market, and consumer experience!

We are looking for a passionate, detail oriented current college student to join our Merchandising team in Los Angeles, California as a Merchandising Intern. Only actively enrolled college students will be considered. Please note that this internship extends past the Summer.

Intern would work on a part time basis, up to 25 hours per week, during normal business hours. Normal business hours are Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm. This is a PAID internship.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Recurring reporting creation and support
  • Assist in building product briefs for Design
  • Build and maintain core line plans for each season
  • Input and maintain merchandising data attribution throughout development lifecycle
  • Assist in creation of evergreen product strategy visuals to inform product creation and marketing strategies
  • Evaluate product launch performance based on comparable previous launches and specific targets
  • Market analysis across competitive landscapes that will help to inform product briefs
  • Cultivate authentic cross functional relationships to facilitate the communication of product strategy from inception to consumer presentation
  • Conduct consumer research and insight gathering
  • Analytical

  • Problem solving mentality
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications, including sheets, doc, etc…
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel skills (Plus: Vlookups, Sumifs)
  • Bonus- familiarity with Just Enough, SAP, Looker, Google Analytics
  • Strong communication Skills
This is a PAID internship. The pay rate of this position is $18/hour.
