Imagine an internship where work feels like play – one that is fun, creative, challenging, and incredibly rewarding! In this internship, you'll work with the Nerf team to help tell the world about one of the most beloved play brands. Use a digital-first mindset to help bring our story-driven play experiences to consumers around the world.


Every day you’ll be working with digital-first thinkers, innovative consumer marketers, and brilliant brand developers. You'll be a part of the Franchise Marketing team on Nerf – the OG blaster brand. Daily, you will be supporting the development and processes of our upcoming marketing campaigns, with workstreams including but not limited to Social, Influencer, Experiential, and Digital Video content creation and strategies.


What you’ll do and what you’ll learn:

  • Partnering with Franchise Marketing Brand Manager & Social Media Manager to develop & design best-in-class Instagram social assets.
  • Using social listening, creative thinking, and have their finger on the pulse of trending concepts & design methodologies to help build content and inform future Social content planning.
  • Identify ways in which we can create social assets and integrate them into upcoming marketing campaigns.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to execute key brand initiatives within respective marketing strategies & execution plans.
  • Assisting in the development of overall go-to-market product strategy, primary assets for advertising, and other marketing communications.


What you’ll bring:

  • Must be a marketing undergrad currently enrolled in classes
  • Must have strong experience with Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effects
  • Strong understanding of social media & digital culture that resonates with Gen-Z
  • Presentation skills: can deliver complex information in a compelling way, uses story to persuade audience; captures interest, engages audiences, uses supporting points to influence.
  • Data analysis: can make sense of quantitative and qualitative information affecting the brand; exposure to Facebook Business Manager, Sprout Social, TikTok Ads Manager
  • Experience in the marketing world – agency or brand side – with an understanding of 360 fully-integrated marketing campaigns, as well as their corresponding processes.

Requirements:

  • Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student. Students graduating in or before August 2023 are not eligible for fall 2023 internships
  • Must be available to work full-time (40 hrs/wk) as an intern from September-December 2023
  • Must commute to the Pawtucket, RI office and successfully work a hybrid model, with at least 3 days in office
  • Candidates are responsible for their own housing & transportation (free parking). Hasbro headquarters are in Pawtucket, RI, 6.5 miles from the Attleboro, MA commuter rail station. We offer shuttle service to/from the office/commuter rail station
