Position Summary
Parker Aerospace, Military Flight Controls Division is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to participate in a summer intern program.
An entry level position for a high-energy, detail orientated, and highly organized individual specializing in entry level buying. The Supply Chain Intern will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Interns will be assigned 1-2 major projects that they will progress forward during their time in the role.
Projects will align to current business needs and consider particular interests of the intern.
The intern will also be assigned additional smaller projects or routine responsibilities in the functional area of concentration for their internship to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
Perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities that will include cross-functional experience. Perform daily-weekly routine job responsibilities associated with entry level role within designated functional area of supply chain, in order to develop professional work knowledge.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business degree.
Must be entering junior or senior year in Fall 2023.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others on teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work in person from May 2023 - August 2023
Conditions of Employment
This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders], or have refugee or asylee status).
