What you'll be doing::
This is a hands on management role where you will lead, manage, coordinate and participate in the operation of the internal support team. You will be supporting 450+ office and hybrid based internal users across multiple physical sites as well as remote and mobile.
Key responsibilities
Ensure the right KPIs and OLAs are in place-
Lead and work with the internal support team in supporting our internal operations

Work to maintain 100% availability of internal systems
-
Ensure corporate Wi-Fi and network systems are maintained at 100% uptime and secured .

Ensure timely support of the internal customer base up to director level from 1st to 4th line
- Delegate and assign tasks to internal support team members as required and ensure that tasks are delivered within appropriate time scales

Ensure that internal assets are protected and secured as standard In co-ordination with other stakeholders, and be responsible for internal asset management
-
Ensure that systems and infrastructure are documented accurately and records kept up to date and maintain a record of internal projects and update progress as appropriate.

Develop and implement best practices and produce regular reports on internal support activities, showing support activity, trends, notable actions and project progress.

Drive a program of continuous improvement across the internal IT estate

Support the onboarding / off-boarding of employees
-
Provide advice and guidance on standard corporate applications and provide and implement best practice as it evolves in line with company standards and requirements.

Work within agreed budgets as required, making responsible use of assets.

Work with your line manager as required to assist in development of processes and procedures and other works and projects.

Solid understanding of networking TCP/IP and IP addressing, DNS and DHCP

VMWare and Hyper-V

Windows automation and deployment
Previous SME level technical experience as well as previous experience in a leadership role is essential.
