Job Description
Job Description:
The International Admissions Specialist will support F1 international admissions administrative processing within the Office of International Student Services. This position plays an integral role in the Office of International Students by supporting students throughout the admissions process. They will serve to provide general, as well as specific information, to prospective and new students, faculty, staff and community members regarding the international admission process.

Duties and Tasks:
  • Answering emails and phone calls, collating and checking for completeness of applications, collecting documents and support in the onboarding of new students.
  • Represent the College professionally and handle all student inquiries confidentially.
  • Works collaboratively and cooperatively with academic and student services to address admission related questions and issues.
  • Ensures that all prospective and new students receive the services necessary to become Nighthawk ready so they may proceed to enrollment and advising.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.



KSA's/Required Qualifications
Required KSA’s:
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of student records database software
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Ability to diplomatically consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding admission policies and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Some experience working with F1 student population.
  • Some recordkeeping experience.
  • Some experience working with MS Office Suite and Zoom.

  • Some Designated School official/SEVIS experience
  • Some experience working or studying at a community college
  • Some experience living or studying outside the US.
