Data Analytics Summer Co-Op

Position Summary
The Analytics Team is seeking a motivated Co-Op pursuing a MS degree in Statistics, Math, IS, Analytics, or Data Science to develop reports and dashboards which drive enhanced business outcomes for Skyworks. Areas of focus will primarily Supply Chain Planning and Engineering Operations. This Co-Op runs from January 2024 to June 2024.

Job Description
This Co-Op is designed to help MS candidates develop the skills and experience required to develop/maintain analytics and reports for the business with a focus on Demand Planning. The Analytics Teams provides a broad range of services creating value-add intelligence through data analysis.
Organization
The candidate will be embedded within Analytics Team focused on delivering value to the Demand Management Team.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an MS Degree candidate in Statistics, Math, IS, Analytics, Data Science, or related field
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Strong base of IT and data analysis and reporting skills
Experience working with relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent, including deriving data using Structured Query Language (SQL). Exposure to Alteryx a plus
Knowledge of Statistical forecasting techniques and Algorithmic solutions

Advanced MS Excel skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
