Job Description:
The Inventory Planning Supervisor is responsible for leading the North American Aftermarket Inventory Planning group of Buyers. This position is responsible for the delivery, performance, and communication with the supply base. This person will develop/lead the effort in data collection, reporting and tracking of KPIs for the materials team. Additionally, this person serves as the primary conduit between Sales and Marketing initiatives and inventory planning. This role, as appropriate, will provide strategic input to the broader Operations team to improve processes and drives efficiency gains through the network.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Escalation point of contact for CSR, Sales, Warranty, and Global Distribution sites.

Support fill rate targets, backorder reduction, grief resolution, invoice exceptions, Salesforce case management, and all other relevant KPIs associated with the Materials Department.

Proactively communicate service risks and recovery timing to the organization and develop and execute plans to mitigate risk.

Develops and organizes the purchasing team and support staff to coordinate day-to-day activities and material flow.

Develops standards and metrics for performance related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.

Mentors and develops top level talent for the aftermarket organization.

Serve as key point of contact between Sales, Marketing, and supply chain functions.

Work with Buyers to ramp up and ramp down inventory levels and purchases.

Create or provide metrics and measurements as well as exception management reports.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management or Logistics preferred.

4-6 years of Supply Chain Planning experience (Supply / Demand).

Strong analytical skills, statistics experience, and problem-solving ability.

Requires a demonstrated understanding and background in the principles of Materials Management.

Ability to lead a team of people with varying backgrounds and experience levels through projects and tasks.

Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with forecasting algorithms / statistics.

Proven inventory distribution and product flow knowledge.

Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

A general knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
The compensation range for this position is $70,000 - 95,000 salary. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
