Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Essential Functions:
•Receives raw materials systematically into Mapics while ensuring all required documentation has been provided and is correct (BOL, Packing List, & COA)
•Receives miscellaneous POs into IPO and delivers miscellaneous materials/paperwork to each department’s buyer.
•Completes or reviews each raw materials Inbound Form to ensure paperwork is completed correctly and in full.
•Responds to emails confirming carrier’s delivery appointments and maintains the delivery schedule so that it’s accurate and up to date.
•Emails daily Tank Readings Report and keeps record of the daily tank readings on file.
•Completes weekly inventory cycle counts.
•Checks in drivers at the receiving dock and ensures each driver signs-in
•Unloads trucks for inbound deliveries, ensures all food safety and quality is met for each product being unloaded and that the delivery arrives in full.
•Records any inbound damages on the Freight Claim’s Log so that the warehouse supervisors can file the Freight Claims
•Posts weekly hotbox schedule so forklift drivers know what needs to be either plugged in or put in the hotbox.
•Assists with connecting bulk tankers so raw materials can be pumped into our tanks/silos.
•Labels raw material pallets once materials are approved by QA.
•Assists with staging and delivering raw materials to the production lines.
•Utilizes our inventory system to ensure all movements are captured, keeping inventory accurate from a quantity and location standpoint.
•Assists with organizing raw materials in warehouse according to vertical allergen stacking and ensures we’re following FIFO (first in, first out) so that older materials are being used first.
•Schedules Oakland Pallet trailer swaps so that wooden pallets can be recycled.
•Responsible for the condition of the raw materials by ensuring both remain undamaged, clean, free of contaminants, and stored at correct temperature.
•Ensures all safety rules are adhered to too; communicating issues or concerns that cannot be resolved by crew or supervisor.
•Performs all duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
•Adheres to uniform requirements.
•Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excell and Word.
•Appropriate English language ability to read, write and interpret documents.
Training / Certification:
•Forklift Certification (Preferred)
