Position Summary:Responsible for applying consistent accounting principles and procedures to record and analyze financial information, maintain the integrity of the financial records, provide transparent and accurate financial information to Sr. Management, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure adherence to appropriate accounting control procedures. Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Community Management to review financials and provide commentary on variances.Job Duties:• Assist with review of assigned property portfolio financial statements and other month end responsibilities• Perform monthly review of financials to assess accuracy/completeness and variance analysis• Partner with Portfolio Management/Community Management to respond to financial statement and budget analysis questions• Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations of asset and liability accounts• Oversee bank reconciliation process in Blackline• Manage property tax bill accruals and act as liaison between stakeholders and Property Tax Department• Support cafe accounting process and review/upload financials from 3rd party cafe vendors• Responsible for timely and accurate ad-hoc reports as needed• Assist with audit requests as needed• Leverage technology to improve current processes• Perform other related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:• BA or BS in Accounting• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate ManagementCompensation:Base Pay Range: $93,600.00 - $112,700.00Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.• The Company also offers competitive benefits for full time employees including paid time off, matching 401(k), and health benefits.
