I2X Technologies is seeking a part-time (up to 25 hours per week) Payroll & Accounting Clerk to support ongoing activities at our Corporate Headquarters in Litteton, CO. This position will be on-site Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday reporting directly into the Corporate Controller.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile labor against accounting system and compliance with company policies
• Maintain employee information in payroll system for new hire, terminations, and changes
• Compile, balance and submit bi-weekly payroll for processing
• Benefit tracking, reconciliation and resolution
• Review all bi-weekly, monthly, annual payroll tax submissions
• Review payroll for compliance 401k, SUI, state, withholding, state benefit pay laws, jury pay, and other compliance requirements.
• Other accounting and payroll duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Accounting/Business.

• Minimum 3 years accounting and payroll experience.

• Experience with accounting software.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Desired Experience and Skills

• Experience in government accounting.
• Experience in general accepted accounting principles, operating procedures and/or appropriate regulations.
• Experience with Paylocity.

Essential Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
