IT Business Systems Analyst / Operations Partner

SRG Global has an immediate need for an IT Global Business Systems Analyst & Operations Partner. This role has flexibility to be physically based out of any SRG location in the United States. Our plants are located in Evansville Indiana, Morehead Kentucky, Newbern Tennessee, Farmington Missouri, Portageville, Missouri, and Covington Georgia. This position is eligible for relocation assistance.

The selected individual will lead IT in the plant by providing operations IT support as the main and single point of contact. This is key role where you will partner with the business to deliver tactical & strategic solutions, ensure initiatives provide superior value through ongoing operations support, project execution, collaboration, and stakeholder communication.

What You Will Do

  • Provide business analysis expertise in support of our ERP CMS system
  • Be a key member of a Global IT BSA team collaborating across the 3 regions NA, EU and AP
  • Demonstrate high learning agility with strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation, a strong sense of accountability, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively or independently to accomplish results that meet the business priorities
  • Facilitating change, driving operational excellence, and striving for continuous improvement
  • Interact with ServiceNow to ensure tasks and incidents opened for the IT SRG ERP Support group are resolved, prioritizing requirements and business needs
  • Challenge the business assumptions so that requirements and delivered solutions meet current/future needs
  • Make recommendations and proposals for implementation of business process and standard solutions
  • Work closely with the ERP CMS users, EDI and technical internal teams as well as involving EPICOR supplier as needed
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Technology, Business customers, and Software partners to ensure that we are supporting the operations, projects, and business goals
  • IT Operations business partner activities:
  • Work with the Plant Managers and Operations leaders on the Operations Initiatives from the Operations Capabilities.
  • Represent IT on the Operations meetings in the plant by:
      • Proactively understand the needs of Operations in the plants.
      • Identify and involve the proper IT resources from any IT capability when requested, important issues and Projects.
      • Communication of the important issues creating disruption for our Operations in the Plant.
      • Follow up of the issues affecting the Operations in the Plant.
      • Visit the Plants and meet with the Operations leaders under Schedule.
      • Incident and tasks follow up on ServiceNow, taking ownership from opening to close phases
      • Collaborate with EDI, IT Technical teams, ERP EPICOR supplier and other team members to support solution and integration testing.
  • Facilitate and document reported defects and maintain solution status.
  • Review existing business processes to determine where automation / improvements will drive efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the IT members to identify appropriate internal or external solutions.
  • Ensure the IT Support to the Operations in the plant of the different IT capabilities involved.
  • Manage the Operations Shutdown Windows requests with Operations in the plant.
  • Proactively inform Operations on the IT Issues affecting the Operations.
  • Support the IT needs/requests on the Plant Audits (IATF, TISAX, …)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher OR four (4) or more years IT experience in lieu of a degree
  • Two (2) or more years' experience in an IT role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive or auto parts industry

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or business
  • Experience supporting an ERP system
  • General knowledge of end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems/processes
  • Incident and problem management based on ITIL practices
  • Experience working in Help desk ticketing system
  • IT experience in a manufacturing /industrial environment
  • Business relationships experience
