Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This change will expand the duties and responsibilities of this position to include all facets of technical user support services, not limited to audio-visual, such as file, print, email, scripts, Vsmith, portal support, desktop, imaging and hardware, custom applications, and mobile devices. The position will also provide supervision, training, and scheduling to Level 1 technicians.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Three years of technology-related experience are required.
- 3-5 years of technical customer support.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to support, identify and troubleshoot general problems with PC/AV hardware and mobile devices.
- Knowledge of Win/Mac OS, IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, MS Office suite, PowerPoint, and file/print services such as Active Directory and Google Drive/File Stream.
- General understanding of client-server applications, networks, authentication, application packaging, and imaging.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to proactively seek continuous quality improvement of services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office products
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and willingness to share information.
- Ability to use discretion and confidentiality with access to sensitive data and local administrative access to all desktop equipment and data in the environment for the purpose of support.

Preferred knowledge and experience with ServiceNow, JAMF (Apple Device Manager), and MECM (Microsoft Configuration Manager).
