IT Desktop Technician - Travel Team

Responsibilities:
  • Redirect and assign problems to appropriate resources to ensure timely resolution and customer/end user satisfaction
  • Identify and escalate hardware, software, system and network situations requiring urgent attention
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Assist/backup the department buyer with the new purchases and processing new and existing orders
  • This position requires after hours/holiday on-call support on a rotational basis.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required; bachelors or Technical degree in Computer Science/Business preferred.
  • Up to date A+ and/or Microsoft Certification preferred
  • 3 plus years’ IT hardware and software troubleshooting work experience required
  • Previous experience in handling routine tasks with limited assistance and receiving detailed instructions on new assignments required
  • Previous experience in resolving issues related to IT Support; network support, PC troubleshooting, application troubleshooting, and other anomalies that may develop required
  • Previous experience in providing technical support on Windows systems-related issues required
  • Ability to answer questions and resolve problems via phone, e-mail or in person required
  • Ability to listen and ask questions to diagnose and solve computer issues required
  • Previous experience in an IT environment preferred
  • Experience performing support and maintenance either remotely or at the customer’s location to resolve problems using basic to advanced troubleshooting and technical skills
  • Adheres to workflow and service level expectations between teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Understands the critical nature of the business and makes every reasonable effort to achieve employee satisfaction and/or provide acceptable workarounds
  • Utilizes IT knowledgebase as a part of troubleshooting and researching customer issues, and shares knowledge with customers and colleagues by submitting frequently asked questions for publication
  • Citrix XenApp experience preferred
  • This position requires after hours/holiday on-call support on a rotational basis.
Base Salary: $35,000 - $55,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
All full-time salaried employees are also eligible for the following benefits: Flexible Paid Time Off Program, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Disability, and other voluntary coverages.
