IT Inventory and Imaging Specialist

Responsibilities

• The Inventory and Imaging Specialist is responsible for both technical, and administrative duties
• Inventorying and asset tagging of IT equipment
• Responding in person, via phone, or electronically to inquiries and requests for assistance, and creating, updating, and resolving Service Desk Tickets as needed
• Management of IT Logistics including Disposal activities
• Imaging and Initial Configuration of Devices
• Computer Component Maintenance through basic part replacement
• Ordering Cell Phones
• Assisting customers and staff with basic hardware and software challenges
• Dealing with Vendors for Warranty Support
• Cellphone plan optimization
• Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties
• Essential Job Functions
  • 60% - Receive, Inventory, and asset tag IT equipment Prepares, stores and applies images for all models of computers in active inventory.
  • 30% - Uses technical expertise & understanding of business needs to evaluate and resolve IT service desk tickets, meeting specific Service Level Agreements. Assists in maintaining the onsite storage facility.
  • 10% - Device Management Projects such as Quarterly Inventory Reports, Warranty Management, etc.
  • 10% - Prepares and maintains end-user documentation

Key Skills required

• Good customer service skills
• Understanding of IT Hardware

Education, Licensure and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• IT experience at least 1 years
