Responsibilities

This role will be our first IT hire in our NYC office, reporting into our London-based IT Lead, and will have wide-ranging responsibilities including new employee onboarding, maintaining and fixing all aspects of Codat's internal IT for the USA, and helping lead IT's strategic projects to help support the business as it scales.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot as needed all aspects of Codat's internal IT and AV for USA employees and our NYC office, including hardware, software, networking and security
  • Discover and own IT projects to improve and adapt our Azure services, such as SCIM / SIEM / Defender or developing Intune to ensure a smooth user enrollment that also meets critical compliance and security needs as we expand
  • Own the end-to-end purchasing and configuration of all US hardware
  • Provide top quality support to our US-based employees (and additional global support as needed) to ensure any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently

What excites us

  • Strong Azure and Intune experience, as well as experience with Windows & Mac, G-Suite, AV equipment like Zoom Rooms and Google Meet
  • Basic networking experience (Ubiquiti) and experience liaising with third-party IT providers
  • Able to clearly communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation, including those with varying degrees of technical knowledge
  • Experience working with both onsite and remote employees
  • Proven organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a desire to continuously improve your technical acumen
  • Adaptable to the needs of a fast-moving startup environment and willing to proactively discover and deliver areas of improvement as we grow
  • Experience in a software startup or working with compliance standards (e.g. SOC2, ISO27001) a plus
