    Hourly pay range: $30.00 -$50.00 per hour based on experience.

    Description:
    Under the direction of the Director of Business and Services, the Temporary IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, execution and delivery of technology related projects, tasks, and initiatives across the Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) on time and within scope and budget.


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Provide end-to-end project management and ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
    • Prepare key documentation, and conduct analyses such as cost, timeline, budget, risk, technical feasibility, stakeholders, and training / communications / change management.

    • Prioritize work to keep multiple projects moving in a timely manner, meet deadlines, and manage with efficiency and accuracy.
    • Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, leadership and stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of (5) years of related work experience.

    Demonstrated experience using one or more of the following project management methodologies Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, Critical Path Method, Rapid Applications Development, Six Sigma
