Your Role:

The IT Support Engineer ensures the proper day-to-day operation of technology applications and equipment. Provides in-person and remote assistance to resolve technical issues. Conducts onboarding of new employees. Performs installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks. May have expertise in commonly used business applications.
Your Opportunity:

  • Answer staff questions in person, via phone and ticketing system on company supported applications
  • Provision and configure equipment for new staff
  • Conduct new hire IT onboarding
  • Troubleshoot computer, telephony and AV (audio visual) problems
  • Determine source of computer problems (hardware, software, network, access, etc.)
  • Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department to resolve issues
  • Document resolutions for future reference
  • Route inbound inquiries within the IT department to appropriate groups for escalation and resolution
  • Communicate resolutions to end users
  • Provide after hours support per routine on-call shift rotation
  • Create and manage new accounts based on departmental needs
  • Verify configurations with Hiring Managers

What You'll Need:

  • Two or more years of technical support experience preferred
  • Experience with Active Directory and/or Okta
  • Experience using JAMF, Solarwinds and similar platforms
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications
  • Experience supporting Apple Macintosh operating systems and applications
  • Experience with PC and Apple hardware
  • Experience supporting Mobile Devices
  • General knowledge of Local Area Networks and troubleshooting
  • General knowledge of AWS Workspaces or similar environments
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions
  • Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to users on the use of applications and systems

The base hourly range for this position is $26.92 - $35.89 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
