Working together, we’ll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global and local.Reporting to the Director of IT Procurement, this position will lead the Jacobs Indirect IT Category Management team for the Global Procurement function, that support the internal Information Technology needs of Jacobs’ business units and Enterprise Functions. In this role, lead the charge in developing a high performing team and managing daily operations of five IT category pillars. The includes directing the development and management of procurement category strategies, including supplier management engagements. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders to support early engagement opportunities with suppliers to optimize investment.Additionally, in this role, you’ll:• Manage a global portfolio in excess of $350M Contract Value, focusing on all major IT categories - SaaS, software, maintenance, hardware, IT services, managed services, cloud services, telephony, etc.• Manage a team of Senior IT Category Managers, and work in coordination with a global procurement team for all Procure-to-Pay procurement processes• Lead the Category Management Team (and serve as SME) in driving and executing Jacobs’ procurement processes on large scale initiatives - intake, market research, requirements development, supplier qualification, RFP/RFI, scoring models, evaluations, pricing competitiveness, negotiations, contracting, etc.• Lead the Category Management Team (and serve as SME) on driving advanced knowledge and techniques for negotiating, redlining, and drafting commercial and legal provisions of Technology Agreements to achieve optimal results• Partner with IT finance and internal business stakeholders to influence the prioritization and execution of deals to achieve IT Procurement savings for your portfolio• In conjunction with Director, establish and drive Vendor Management processes and framework for strategic vendors• Be able to effectively and efficiently present (and drive your team to effectively and efficiently present) executive summaries, deal summaries, negotiation analysis, financial summaries, etc.• Manage Vendor disputes on matters relating to license compliance, usage rights, SOW performance delivery, etc.• Serve as a Champion to the Team on Change Management, and drive adoption of procurement practices both with the team and stakeholders• Work with General Counsel Office to ensure contract terms and conditions are favorable and in compliance with Legal playbooks/policies• Support periodic internal audits to ensure consistent, reliable procurement execution.• Strictly uphold Company and Departmental policies and procedures, while adhering to IT Sourcing processesAt Jacobs, we challenge the accepted, so we can shape innovative and lasting solutions for tomorrow. If you’re interested in a rewarding career working with the industry’s best and most innovative professionals, then Jacobs is where you belong.• 5+ years relevant experience with 9+ years practical experience in IT Procurement (emphasis on IT Software & Services)• Leadership experience, procurement team management and building teams• Legal contracting expertise in IT contracts; including team advisory support• Experience interfacing/working with internal customers and suppliers (incl. supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing)• Detail-oriented with an appreciation for customer service and delivery• Strong communication skills, Fluent English both written and verbal required, including executive level communications• Ability to skillfully multi-task while also being clear and focused on execution.• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills• Adapts quickly, acts independently, and can make an immediate impact• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business, legal or another applicable field. Related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Ideally, you’ll also have:• Law degree with IT contracting experience• Internal and external audit response experience (i.e. ISO 27001)• Experience with software agreements, global software licensing models as well as creating IT services contracts with service level measures.• Experience with both indirect and direct software contracting• Familiarity with IT supplier landscape, key players, and market related knowledge• Experience having previously worked in the technology industryJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
