DescriptionJob SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various roles within the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to attracting and engaging candidates through innovative sourcing strategies, as well as strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers and candidates alike.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Full-Cycle Recruiting : Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and extending job offers.Sourcing : Utilize various platforms (social media, job boards, networking) to identify and attract both active and passive candidates.Screening : Review resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.Interviewing : Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, with match to organizational values.Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.Candidate Experience : Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.Offer Management : Assist in extending job offers, negotiating terms, and coordinating onboarding processes.Employer Branding : Contribute to enhancing the employment brand, by highlighting company's values and opportunities, using clear and effective communication.Compliance : Ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.WHAT IS REQUIRED:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS.Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruiting.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to travel for job fairs, campus recruiting or industry events as required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience recruiting for roles in Corporate, Retail and Manufacturing industries.Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.Professional Recruiting, Sourcing or Talent Acquisition certifications.Original job Talent Acquisition Specialist - San Antonio area posted on GrabJobs ©.
