The Renewals Account Manager plays a pivotal role in our organization, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the continued success of our renewal underwriting team. Seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Renewals Account Manager, for our Workers’ Compensation team focusing on managing large and high-premium renewal accounts. The role involves overseeing the renewal processing and servicing of these accounts, collaborating closely with leadership to ensure optimal client satisfaction and account management. The ideal candidate will bring strong account management skills and a proactive approach to deliver exceptional service in the realm of insurance renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding and development of our carrier partnerships
  • Maintain high level of service by communicating effectively with staff on process improvements for renewals and overall service.
  • Maintain strong marketplace knowledge while keeping the team informed of priorities
  • Maintain and support technical programs that derive production flow and trouble shoot as needed while adjusting to changing conditions.
  • Provide leadership with regular reporting and analytics that reflect  the current production and areas of opportunity
  • Bring new talent to the organization by promoting the growth opportunities at Jencap
  • Maintain strong knowledge on Carrier changes, sites, appetites, strengths & weaknesses
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team to exceed individual and company goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in binding operations or carrier underwriting in commercial lines (preferably, workers’ comp) operations.
  • Demonstrated history of supporting, mentoring, or coaching team members and participating in strategic project implementation support initiatives.
