Skills
Proven experience in retail store management
Understanding of retail facets such as business development and visual merchandising
Experience in executing events and engaging the community
Strong communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Knowledge of POS and Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to provide feedback and develop employees
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
Responsibilities
Serve as a leadership figure for the store, setting the tone for customer experience and positive employee culture
Achieve successful store sales performance through maintaining excellent customer service standards and developing community partnerships
Ensure effective communication of the Jenni Kayne brand to customers and encourage engagement with rewards program and social media
Maintain exceptional operational standards, including inventory accuracy and attention to detail
Coordinate in-shop events with Senior Managers to drive attendance and sales revenue
Recruit and manage scheduling, time off, and payroll for the store
Provide thorough training and onboarding for team members
Mentor team members and cultivate strong relationships with all employees
