JFF is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing various accounting activities to support the organization's financial goals.
Skills
- Experience with accounting and reconciliations
- Knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions and support monthly and annual close processes
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
- Prepare journal entries for monthly and year-end closing
- Collaborate with Finance team on financial reporting and audit preparation
- Implement best practices for efficient procedures and resources
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
