With 2023 revenues of $20.4 billion, we are a Fortune 500 company committed to providing an inclusive work environment with continuous learning opportunities and development for our teams.GENERAL PURPOSE:Lead and support the design & development of Store Planning projects (New Stores, Refresh, Remodels, Retrofits, etc.) as assigned. This includes fixture plans, merchandise plans, and construction documents. Provide Store Operations with quantified data analysis on merchandise units, sales, and store specific capacity as requested. Present floor plan proposals and analysis to senior management for approval in both Excel and PowerPoint documents.Ensure high quality controls are in place for plan checks and support NSO Lead with plan checking. Work closely with Manager to further the development of guidelines and tools to enhance the store planning process, ensuring on-time completion with high quality. Maintain Store Planning tools such as our internal fixture database, capacity reports, playbooks, store data in Google Maps, and AutoCAD. Support leadership with ad-hoc data requests. Communicate with key business partners such as LP, Store Design, Construction, Purchasing, Store Presentation, Business Intelligence, and Store Operations Initiatives throughout all phases of the store planning process from inception to completion.Must be able to travel to stores and execute site surveys and walk-throughs on occasion.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Build and maintain project schedule(s) and provide consistent, comprehensive weekly status updates to the Manager, Store Planning & Design.Manage all planning projects as required by Store Operations including presentation of work and new concept designs to senior leadership.Coordinate resource allocation and assignment of all projects within the team.Oversee the development of plans and documents for new stores and other projects as assigned to the team.Partner with Manager as the single point of contact for all assigned projects. Communicate and interact with the team to provide leadership, guidance and ensure projects are executed accurately within company standards.Partner cross-functionally across multiple shared projects, often happening simultaneously.Collaborate with Store Planning counterparts, Fixture Design, and Fixture Purchasing teams to manage the design and documentation of all new fixturing blocks and design details.Maintain the internal database of active stores, fixture types, store info, users, and accuracy of all data; interface with third-party software representatives to address bugs and auditing of information as necessary.Maintain the capacity tool template, partnering with Business Intelligence as needed.COMPETENCIES:Building Effective TeamsEnsures Accountability & ExecutionPlans, Aligns & PrioritizesManages ConflictCollaborationBusiness AcumenLeading by ExampleQUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:Minimum 5 years of experience in Space Planning using AutoCAD software.Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects in a Store Planning related field.4-year degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design related field or equivalent preferred.Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as Teams.Strong organizational skills and precise attention to detail.Effective communication with excellent follow-up skills.Must have a keen understanding of construction practices and architectural standards.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:This role requires regular in-office presence, including attending in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
