What this job involves - The Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing facilities services projects in a manufacturing, research, development, and office environment. Also coordinates and oversees MAC work request throughout the campus. Scope includes management of various facilities

based work order execution and small project management. The role will ensure all basics of safety, compliance, operations and project management. building systems, and innovation requirements are met in the environment of a Life Science high-end account. Managing and tracking customer relationship. The ideal candidate in this position will have a background in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, property care for multi-buildings campus. This role is responsible for supporting and implementing strategic operational projects, providing ongoing support.

What is the day to day?

  • Ensure client satisfaction with clients at all levels in the organization; demonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic plan for project work, in support of JLL and client objectives, with a focus on innovation and best practices and create standard work for all operational activities
  • Lead and manage projects by cooperating with facilities, engineering, and contractors.
  • Establish project requirements, ensure contracts are executed, manage procurement process, prequalify contractors, establish schedules, and ensure adherence to plans throughout life cycle of project. Communicate with all stakeholders throughout different phases of project.
  • Supervisory role involves people management, decision-making, communication, management of planning/scheduling and assignment, drive overall improvement of productivity.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers per scope of work including but not limited to all building systems, and encompasses any or all campus needs
  • Meet all standard operating procedures, codes, and regulations.
  • Provide operational and procedural support to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established departmental, building, and client means, methods, and procedures
  • Manage one-off relocations and office set-ups
  • Receive all requests for end user moves, support scheduling, coordinates execution and vendor management
  • Ensure vendors comply with building standards and policies.
  • Interface with Space Planners and end user to gather requirements
  • Coordinate project space / moves plans and information with contractors
  • Assist and maintain move plans, furniture and move documents
  • Ensure compliance with approved standards and authority levels

Safety:

  • Identify risks to client facilities and eliminate downtime or project delays
  • Implementation and management of the computerized work order management systems in accordance with JLL and client expectations.
  • Responsible for the adherence and compliance with all JLL work practices.
  • Administer compliance with and reporting of applicable environmental health and safety programs

Desired experience and technical skills -

Required

  • 3+ years direct supervision of multi-building operations, projects or field experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, building structure, facilities processes, project management
  • Strong technical knowledge of EAMS CMMS system
  • Business acumen including financial planning and analysis must be able to manage within budget and time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
  • Strong organization skills and collaborative management style
