As a Credit Card Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s credit card business by conducting financial and business analysis, driving performance, and optimizing strategies across various business functions. This role involves collaborating with teams such as operations, marketing, and legal to evaluate business performance, determine strategic opportunities, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance product growth and profitability. You will also be responsible for monitoring portfolio performance and ensuring a smooth customer experience while identifying trends and mitigating credit risk.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct in-depth business and financial analysis to evaluate product performance, recommend strategies, and prioritize opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, tech, analytics, marketing, and legal) to gather requirements and set priorities for product and project improvements
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies to optimize credit limits, mitigate risk, and improve profitability
  • Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery while meeting organizational goals
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive product growth, expansion, and process improvements
  • Support the optimization of customer experience by ensuring credit limits and terms align with customer needs and financial capabilities

  • 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in the Credit Card, Loans, or other financial services sectors (fintech or fast-growing consumer startup experience is a plus)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large data sets and translate them into actionable business insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL; experience with Tableau, Python, R, or SAS is highly desirable
  • Expertise in forecasting models such as time series forecasting
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and stakeholders
