Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary $110,000 - $135,000 per yearA Bit About UsWe are representing a restaurant group that is rapidly growing throughout the FL and the USA!They are seeking a Controller who is looking to grow within an organization and who will spearhead the entire accounting / finance department.Apply today to learn more!Why join us?• Competitive salary• 401(k) plan with matching• Health, vision, and dental insurance• Paid time off• Restaurant DiscountsJob DetailsResponsibilities• Prepare monthly financial statements and board reports• Complete month-end and year-end close processes• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports• Lead relationships with outsourced accounting firms• Research technical accounting issues for compliance• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting• Partner with payroll admin for compliance and accurate forecasts• Oversee processing of payables, receivables, and daily transactions• Manage company funds and maintain adequate bank balances• Provide cash flow management and periodic reports to management and the board• Comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports for executives and project managers• Measure task strategies, efficiency, and project performance for improvements• Perform additional tasks as required by leadership or the boardQualifications• 4+ years of accounting and finance experience• Strong organizational and communication skills• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities• Ability to prepare and understand detailed financial analyses• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes• Skilled in creating financial statements and reports for board meetings• Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and Google Sheets• CPA preferred• Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred• Basic understanding of HR and compliance is a plusInterested in hearing more?
