This role will be instrumental in managing the financial health of our organization, contributing to the development of financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, audit, and reconciliations.Responsibilities• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance• Ensure compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures• Carry out regular financial audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards• Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliations• Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts• Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget management• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process• Supervise accounting staff and provide feedback and guidance• Work closely with external auditors and manage internal controls• Perform other related duties as necessary or assignedQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field• Proven experience in the healthcare industry is ideal• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and financial data analysis• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a growing organization.
