Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" button and sending us your resume.Salary $100,000 - $140,000 per yearA Bit About UsWe're looking for an Associate Attorney to help support our department by researching legal issues and drafting legal documents such as briefs, motions and pleadings, conducting depositions, attending mediation, preparing cases for trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, possess excellent writing skills and be creative enough to find solutions to new problems and be experienced in NYS Labor Law ( Construction) MVA, trip/slip and fall, premise and construction matters to handle cases from inception through trial.Why join us?• Ability to work 1 day Remote to start• 401(k) matching• Health insurance• Paid time offJob DetailsQualifications• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney, with a insurance defense law being ideal.• Admission to the State Bar of New York.• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.• Demonstrated ability to represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.• Exceptional research skills and the ability to provide accurate and timely legal advice.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.If you have a passion for law, a commitment to providing exceptional service, and a desire to grow your career in a dynamic and challenging environment, we would love to hear from you.Interested in hearing more?
